Summer Institute at Xavier University

The Summer Institute is an introduction to what it means to be part of the XJA community. This two-week program, July 22 - Aug 2, offers students academic sessions, social and emotional learning, team-building activities, leadership development, and fun! Students and their families will engage with teachers and staff, fostering relationships that will support them throughout their educational journey. By participating, students will recognize their strengths, identify areas for growth, and reflect on how they can positively impact the community and each other.

Academic Enrichment and Beyond

The Summer Institute keeps young minds active through various math, science, reading, and art academic sessions designed to reinforce key concepts and ignite curiosity. Each session fosters a love for learning in a supportive environment. The program also includes interactive lessons, creative projects, and recreational activities, ensuring students look forward to each day excitedly.

Building Strong Foundations

Emphasizing social and emotional learning, the Summer Institute helps students develop empathy, communication, and problem-solving skills through team-building activities and leadership exercises. These activities help form meaningful connections with peers and teachers, creating a solid foundation for the upcoming school year.

Donate, Support & Volunteer

Community support is vital to the Summer Institute's success. Donors can contribute financially to purchase supplies or fund outings, such as a bowling party, creating memorable experiences for students. Volunteers are also needed to lead enrichment activities, sharing their expertise and passions to inspire students in unique ways.
