XJA Welcomes Dr. Colleen Hanycz for a Special Visit

The Xavier Jesuit Academy community was honored to welcome Dr. Colleen Hanycz, president of Xavier University, to our campus during the Morning Meeting on December 12, 2024.

During her visit, we expressed our gratitude to Dr. Hanycz for Xavier University’s generous support in hosting our Summer Institute last year. It was a time of growth, joy, and connection, during which our students and staff planted the seeds to develop the unique XJA culture. We played, learned, and prayed together, laying the foundation for a strong sense of community and purpose.

Following Morning Meeting, Dr. Hanycz toured the XJA campus and met with leadership and staff. Her visit was both inspiring and affirming for our students. She left them with these powerful words:

“You are men for others. You are going to be men for others. On your first day of college at XU, knock on my door.”

We thank Dr. Hanycz for her visit and ongoing support for Xavier Jesuit Academy. We look forward to continuing our partnership as Cincinnati Jesuit Works members.
