XJA Board Trustee Deacon Royce Winters Receives 2025 MLK Humanitarian Award

Xavier Jesuit Academy proudly announces that Deacon Royce Winters, a distinguished member of our Board of Trustees, has been awarded the 2025 Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Governor's Humanitarian Award. The award was presented at the 40th Annual Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Celebration on January 16, 2025, with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in attendance.

This recognition celebrates Deacon Winters' outstanding contributions to our community as Director of the African American Pastoral Ministries Office for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and Director of Evangelization at Crescent Parishes in Cincinnati. His dedication to service and leadership exemplifies the values we strive to instill in our students at Xavier Jesuit Academy.

As a member of our Board of Trustees, Deacon Winters plays a vital role in shaping the vision and direction of Xavier Jesuit Academy. His ministry and community outreach expertise contribute significantly to our mission of preparing young men to be leaders while enriching their families and communities.

The Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Governor's Humanitarian Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional service to others in pursuing social justice and advancing Dr. King's legacy.
