Fostering a Musketeer community How Xavier collaborates with Cincinnati’s first Jesuit Catholic elementary school to empower and educate students

Recently featured in Xavier University News, "Fostering a Musketeer Community: How Xavier Collaborates with Cincinnati's First Jesuit Catholic Elementary School to Empower and Educate Students" spotlights the impactful partnership between Xavier University and Xavier Jesuit Academy. Serving 3rd-8th grade boys in Bond Hill, this scholarship-funded school focuses on developing faith-filled, intellectually competent students committed to justice.

The collaboration includes Xavier University providing office space during renovations, hosting XJA's Summer Institute, and offering professional development opportunities. Under the leadership of Fr. Nathan Wendt, S.J., and Principal Kyle Chandler, XJA features modern facilities, including a STEM lab and an outdoor learning garden. It prepares students for top college-prep high schools while enriching their families and communities.
