The Xavier Jesuit Academy community celebrated a historic milestone when our inaugural fifth-grade basketball team won the Greater Cincinnati Catholic Youth Sports (GCCYS) Championship. This victory marks the first athletic title in XJA's history and highlights our young men's commitment to excellence both in and outside the classroom.
The championship game showcased the foundational skills our student-athletes developed throughout the season – teamwork, strategic thinking, and grace under pressure. Beyond the scoreboard, our players demonstrated the core values of Jesuit education through their commitment to excellence and service to others.
This achievement belongs to our talented student-athletes and the entire XJA community. Our dedicated parent volunteers, passionate coaches, and spirited supporters created an environment where our young men could thrive and grow as athletes, students, and leaders.
